This site was created with the aim of raising funds to help the Ukrainian people who are currently fighting for their independence and bravely facing aggression by the Vladimir Putin regime. At this moment, thousands of them are forced to flee their homes, take refuge in the undergrounds, in the subways and in the bunkers due to the bombing. Putin is waging a blitzkrieg in the same way that Adolf Hitler did. Remember, not only is the fate of Ukraine at stake but everything that the whole of humanity has built for centuries to provide democracy, freedom, and peace. As conflict continues to roil Ukraine, the Red Cross is vowing support for the most vulnerable. More than two million people have fled Ukraine to neighboring countries and even more are displaced within the country itself. As the fighting intensifies, so does the dire humanitarian situation and needs on the ground. Over the past eight years, teams have been on the ground delivering assistance to at-risk families including providing food, fuel for heating, medical supplies and support for housing. Under mortal danger to themselves, Red Cross teams are still working tirelessly to help people and communities impacted by conflict. Around the clock, teams are providing emergency aid amid fear and uncertainty.
